Struggling with Back, Neck, or Knee Pain? How Light Therapy Offers a Non-Invasive Solution

Red Light

Are you struggling with persistent back pain, neck pain, or inflammation? What if part of the solution was as simple as exposure to specific wavelengths of light?

We are increasingly using Red Light Therapy, a non-invasive treatment that uses a special panel to deliver seven different wavelengths of light to target specific areas of the body. This spectrum includes green light, blue light, red light, and infrared light, each with its own unique benefits.

Here’s a breakdown of how it works and how it could help you.

How Different Wavelengths Work

The therapy panel we use is not just one light, but a precise combination of wavelengths that work on different levels of the body—from the surface of your skin to the deep tissues within.

1. For the Skin: The 500-600nm Range

The more superficial waves, those in the 500 and 600-nanometer (nm) range, are primarily for skin health. These wavelengths (which include green and blue light) are absorbed by the upper layers of the skin. They are excellent for:

  • Softening the skin
  • Promoting collagen growth
  • Helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles

2. For Deep Tissue: The 800-900nm Range

The deeper waves, such as red and infrared light in the 800 or 900nm wavelength range, penetrate much further. This is where the profound healing for pain and inflammation occurs.

When this light penetrates deep into the tissue, it stimulates the mitochondria—the "power plants" inside your cells. This stimulation encourages the mitochondria to produce more energy (known as ATP).

This energy boost has two powerful effects:

  1. It powers the healing process: Cells have more energy to repair themselves.
  2. It helps reduce inflammation: This is a key driver of most bodily pain.

Who Can Benefit from Red Light Therapy?

By reducing inflammation and promoting cellular energy, this therapy has shown great results for a variety of conditions. We find it works very well for patients with:

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Knee pain
  • Foot pain (Plantar Fasciitis)

Additionally, this therapy has other applications. For men, it may even help to elevate testosterone naturally. It is a versatile tool we can use to target specific health goals, from pain relief to skin rejuvenation.
